The women's scholastic ice hockey team from Long Island defeated the Hudson Valley, 3-1, at the Amherst Ice Facility.
Hudson Valley's Alyssa Lustenring tied the game, 1-1, in the second period, but Long Island scored a pair of goals in the second half to triumph.
